Ashley Craft

MU Sustainability Programs Assistant
Ashley Craft joined the Sustainability Office at MU in August 2018 as the Program Assistant. Ashley helps oversee the MU Bike Share program, the Bike Resource Center, the Farmers’ Market and communications efforts on behalf of MU Sustainability. She holds a B.S. in science and agricultural journalism and an M.S. in agricultural communications and education.

Srinivasan (Raghu) Raghavan

MU Sustainability Manager
Srinivasan (Raghu) Raghavan joined the Sustainability Office at MU in August 2015 as the Sustainability Manager. He works closely with other departments at MU to facilitate sustainability across the university. Raghu also serves as an adjunct professor  He holds a B.E. in chemical engineering and graduate degrees in environmental engineering, information management and business.


Student Interns

Abby Hunt

MU Sustainability Ambassador
Abby is from St. Louis, Missouri, and she is majoring in international studies with an emphasis in environmental studies. She is passionate about the power of nature, and further, the importance of protecting the wonderful Earth around us. She loves doing anything active and outside: trail running, gardening and hiking are among her favorites. She also loves to travel, which allows her to learn about different cultures and ways of life. She is looking forward to working with Mizzou to achieve a more sustainable and conscious campus!

Amber Spriggs

MU Sustainability Student Ambassador
Amber is a junior majoring in civil engineering. 

Brock Andreasen

MU Sustainability Office Intern
Brock is from Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, and is currently a junior studying environmental sciences with aspirations of applying to Mizzou’s law school. He was a volunteer with our office for a year before coming on as staff in the summer of 2018. He enjoys anything to do with the outdoors- from fishing to rock climbing.

 

Hannah Schram

MU Sustainability Student Ambassador
Hannah is from the suburbs of Chicago and is currently a senior at Mizzou studying biological sciences. She is very passionate about public health and plans on continuing her education in epidemiology and infectious disease during graduate school. From a sustainability perspective, Hannah is particularly interested in how the health of the environment translates to the wellbeing and health of our daily lives. She believes she can deeply explore this intersection and educate its importance across campus as a sustainability ambassador. Aside from pouring her heart into public health and environmental efforts, Hannah spends her free time dancing and watching major league sports.

Isabella Corona

MU Sustainability Student Ambassador
Isabella is a sophomore majoring in Journalism. As a Sustainability Ambassador, Isabella has a passion for increasing recycling awareness on the MU campus. In her free time, Isabella enjoys writing, photography, music and art. Isabella is from St. Louis and loves going home to see her family and her two cats.

 

Kathryn Kidd

MU Sustainability Graduate Assistant
Kathryn is a first-year graduate student studying Natural Resources. She worked with MU Sustainability throughout her undergraduate degree when she was an interdisciplinary studies major. Kathryn serves as a STARS report and Tiger Treasures liason and has previously overseen Tiger Tailgate Recycling.

 

Kora Freeman

MU Sustainability Student Ambassador
Kora is from Plato, Missouri, which is a very small and rural town. Kora is a Junior at Mizzou, and she is majoring in Biology. She has always enjoyed genetics and plans to become a genetic counselor after she graduates. In her free time, she likes to fish and listen to live music. Kora has a passion for sciences of the natural world, and this has led her to be deeply concerned with the environmental issues we are faced with today. She hopes, as a MU Sustainability Ambassador, to learn and share as much information about sustainability as possible.

Riley Cole

MU Sustainability Student Ambassador
Riley is a native of Columbia, Missouri, graduating from Battle High School in the Spring of 2019, just before entering the Zou as an Environmental Science undergrad. Riley is deeply concerned with the eco-smudges scattered across our environment by humans, so he joined the Sustainability Ambassadors to advocate on behalf of speechless, breathtaking nature. His appreciation for nature began as a boy, skipping rocks in Gans Creek alongside his dad.

 

Sydney Schack

MU Sustainability Office Intern & Ambassador
Sydney is a junior studying journalism here at MU. She is new to the office, just starting this fall. As a sustainability ambassador, Sydney is involved with campus outreach working to increase sustainability literacy on campus. Sydney is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, and loves to go home and see her dog Ellie on weekends. After graduating, Sydney hopes to go to law school.

 

 

Colin Sims

MU Sustainability Office Intern
Colin is a sophomore studying business administration and economics. He recently came on as a staff member this fall. His hope is to couple his passion for sustainability with his love of economics and pursue further education in the field of green economics.

Zoë Westhoff

MU Sustainability Office Intern
Zoë is a junior majoring in Business Management. She currently works in the Sustainability Office as a Student Ambassador as well as working in the Theater Department as a costumer. In her free time she enjoys theater, art, cooking, and many different kinds of tea. She hopes to incorporate or initiate sustainable practices into any workplace she ends up in after graduation.

 

 

 


Bike Resource Center Interns

Chase Ringwall

BRC Mechanic
Chase is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering. Prior to working with the MU Sustainability Office, Chase has worked with Trek and Walt’s Bicycle Shop.

J.D. Peiffer

BRC Mechanic
J.D. is a sophomore majoring in bio engineering. He’s raced mountain bikes from a young age and he’s also been putting bikes together for years. While he still likes trail riding, he now spends most of his time on the road training for triathlons! He not only loves to help fix bikes, but he also enjoys teaching others how to repair their bikes too!
