According to the 2018 Sustainable Campus Index, the University of Missouri is nationally ranked as a top performer for campus engagement. MU and Stanford University are currently tied for sixth place within the index rankings.
Each year the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) publishes the Sustainable Campus Index ranking universities across the nation based on 17 different sustainability impact areas. The sustainability impact areas are measured by the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System known as STARS.
Both AASHE and STARS work together to highlight sustainability efforts within universities in the United States to build stronger, more sustainable communities. For more information visit the 2018 Sustainable Campus Index.
